Community Health Network offers a full range of state-of-the-art cardiovascular care at locations across central Indiana. From prevention and diagnosis to intervention and rehabilitation, our extensive continuum of care is available across Community’s five full-service hospitals. Open heart surgery is performed exclusively at The Indiana Heart Hospital, which opened in February 2003 as the first all digital hospital in the world.
Cardiovascular services at multiple Community hospitals are managed by The Indiana Heart Hospital, helping ensure our standards of care are the same across the network. In addition, Community Health Network emergency departments follow the same advanced chest pain protocols to ensure high quality emergency heart care. Several Community hospitals received national recognition for surpassing standards for clinical excellence in treating patients having heart attacks or experiencing congestive heart failure. |
