Community Health Network partners with Town of Fishers, churches, business, schools, civic groups for major health initiative
Study of Fishers residents’ health habits spurs “Fishers Community Gets Healthy”

Community Health Network has joined with the Town of Fishers, Hamilton Southeastern Schools, Fishers YMCA, local churches, civic organizations and the Fishers Chamber of Commerce, to launch Fishers Community Gets Healthy, a major initiative aimed at improving the health of Fishers residents and creating an attractive business climate in the area. The initiative is the result of a study commissioned by Community Health Network that measured lifestyle habits of people who live in Fishers, one of the fastest growing communities in the country.

"Community Health Network has served the Fishers area since 1985," said Barb Summers, president of Community Hospital North. "We're growing with Fishers and want to stay in tune with the health care issues of residents in the area. We believe that by identifying specific health problems, we can work together to achieve optimum health." Learn more >> | Fishers Study Results (PDF)

Network joins state in public reporting effort on adverse events

Community Health Network joins with other Indiana hospitals in reporting, sharing and learning from incidences of serious events as part of Indiana's adverse reporting initiatives. How Do We Compare? Health Care Quality Performance Indicators

Quality Indicators

Data from September - December 2007 (Q4) now available! Go there >>

Community Health Network strives to keep patients and visitors informed and involved in their health care decisions. We believe that, as consumers of health care, members of the community have a right to know about our hospitals’ quality of care and how it compares to national performance goals. That’s why we publish our quality report cards online.

You can view our "online report card" of performance by condition or by hospital in the categories of heart attack (Acute Myocardial Infarction), congestive heart failure and pneumonia. There is also a helpful multimedia presentation called "Let Us Explain" which will help you understand health care quality performance indicators using everyday examples and easy-to-understand language.
