Indy Eleven Celebrates Community Health Network as newest corporate partner

INDIANAPOLIS (Wednesday, April 2, 2014)– Indy Eleven Professional Soccer and Community Sports Medicine have collaborated on a formal partnership that will help maintain the health and fitness of the North American Soccer League expansion club as it heads into its inaugural season beginning on April 12.

“Community Sports Medicine will be a key component to a successful season for Indy Eleven,” said Indy Eleven President/General Manager Peter Wilt. “We want our players to compete at peak performance levels and the Community Sports Medicine team has developed a personal training plan for our team members to make that happen. Community’s participation at our practices and games will help us keep everyone performing at the top of their abilities and healthy for the entire NASL season.”

Michael DaRosa, DO, and DeAnne Green, certified athletic trainer, will serve as the team physician and head athletic trainer, respectively. Community Sports Medicine will provide extensive medical services to Indy Eleven, including physician and athletic trainer support at all home and away games, ongoing trainer support at practices, sports nutrition consultation and sports performance services.

Indiana Pacers Guard George Hill is the face of Community Sports Medicine. The program also provides sports medicine services for the Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing Team and support for athletic teams at ten area high schools, including Beech Grove, Decatur Central, Franklin Central, Greenwood, Lawrence Central, Lawrence North, New Palestine and Warren Central. Additionally, Community Sports Medicine partners with Riverview Hospital and Johnson Memorial Health to support Noblesville High School and Whiteland High School athletic programs.
