Electrophysiologists

Electrophysiologists (EPs) are considered the "electricians" of the heart. They work with the electrical pathways that travel through the heart to make the heartbeat and ensure that the heart keeps beating. They are trained in a wide range of cardiac electrophysiology and pacing procedures, including highly complex catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia (rapid heart beat), implantation and management of cardiac resynchronization devices, as well as extraction of implantable devices and leads. Meet Community Heart and Vascular's electrophysiologists below.
