Hobbies/Interests: I am excited to continue my medical training with the family medicine team at Community Hospital East! My medical interests include women’s health and hospital medicine. I enjoy spending time with my family, and bingeing on Korean and Chinese dramas in my free time.

Hometown: Mitchell, Indiana
Hobbies/Interests: As a born and raised Hoosier, I am thrilled to join the Family Medicine Residency at Community Hospital East. My journey started in Southern Indiana and has taken me, along with my wife, our daughter, and our dog, to the Caribbean, Tennessee, Georgia, and finally back home again, in Indiana. My medical interests are mainly serving rural areas as a primary care physician and sports medicine. Outside of medicine I am an avid fan of New York Yankees baseball and Indiana Hoosiers basketball. My family and I also enjoy going to the Indianapolis Zoo, Indianapolis Indians baseball games, visiting state parks, and trying new restaurants in the cities we have lived in.

Hometown: South Bend, Indiana
Hobbies/Interests: I was born and raised in Northern Indiana before moving to New York City to pursue education and work in IT. I came back to Indiana for medical school, and I’m thrilled to finish my training at Community Hospital East. I have special interests in addiction medicine, lifestyle medicine and preventive medicine. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, road trips, hiking, and training for fitness and self-defense.

Madison Harris, MD, class of 2025Madison Harris, MD

Hometown: Indianapolis, Indiana
Hobbies/Interests: I have lived in Indianapolis my whole life, and I am proud to continue serving my community through residency. My husband and I have two teenage boys who keep us incredibly busy. We are a family of animal lovers with a dog, two cats and many fish. I have a large collection of houseplants and enjoying gardening when the weather allows. As a physician, I am committed to health equity, patient advocacy and whole-person care.

Hobbies/Interests: I’m ecstatic to be part of the Community Hospital East Family Medicine program and to finally return to Central Indiana. My professional interests include addiction medicine and preventive medicine, and caring for underserved patient populations. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, spoiling my cats, and relaxing with a good book or video game. When I’m not home or at work, you can find me at a renaissance fair or at a park, enjoying the outdoors.

Hobbies/Interests: I am so excited to come back home and join the Community Hospital East Family Medicine program! I love family medicine because it emphasizes continuity of care, preventative medicine, and a wide variety of patient problems. Professionally, I am interested in sleep medicine, pediatrics, women’s health and behavioral health. In my free time, I love binging Netflix with my fiancé, game nights with friends,  listening to true crime podcasts, watching sports (Boiler up and go Bengals!), exercising, traveling and baking.

Samir Saincher, MD, class of 2025Samir Saincher, MD

Hobbies/Interests: I feel very fortunate to have the prestigious opportunity to join the program here at Community Hospital East considering my circuitous route to Indianapolis. In my free time, I like exploring the great outdoors, cooking, following the NBA (lets go Raptors!!!), playing basketball, and watching the Lord of the Rings movies (extended editions only) over and over. I currently enjoy procedural medicine, urgent care, integrating technology within medicine, and working with underserved populations.

Hometown: Sao Paulo, Brazil
Hobbies/Interests: I am very excited to join the Community East Family Medicine Program! I was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and in 2019 I moved to Indy with my wife and two dogs (Lilly and Frieda). I am a sports fanatic and naturally interested in sports medicine. My other interests in medicine include MSK procedures and primary care. After moving to Indy, I discovered the city is passionate about sports, which made me love this place even more. My hobbies include working out, spending time with my family, and grilling.

Hobbies/Interests: Born and raised in Indiana, I am thrilled to be joining the Community East Family Medicine Residency Program! I have loved living in Indianapolis, and I am excited to continue training in this city. My medical interests include women's health and working with underserved populations. In my free time, I love trying various restaurants with my husband, watching movies, reading, hiking, travelling, and playing with my three adorable kittens!

Christina Walker, MD, class of 2025Christina Walker, MD

Hometown: Buechenbeuren, Germany
Hobbies/Interests: I am very excited to join the Community Hospital East Family Medicine Residency. Previously living in Northern Indiana and briefly in Indianapolis, I made wonderful memories and friends, and am greatly looking forward returning to Indiana and to care for the people of Indianapolis. Patient advocacy and eliminating health inequities are two of my passions in medicine. Outside of medicine, I enjoy ballet, stand up paddleboarding, yoga, exploring new cafés and restaurants, and being in nature and around animals.
