I’d like to talk to very much but I feel he should have come out and answer the questions at the front end and saved a lot of confusion at checkout

Among a number of professionals I had seen for a persistent heart problem, Dr. Keating was the only one who was able to diagnose and treat my condition effectively. I believe this is because he was proactive and looking for a solution instead of a plan for continuing care. I value his service greatly.

Dr. Keating does a great job explaining my case, and is very clear in his treatment plan.

Dr. Keating actually studied my chart before walking into the examining room. That should be no surprise but I have found this to be quite rare these days. At most, physicians may glance at the chart as they visit with me and more often they look at it only when a question about medical data is asked. Dr. Keating knew what he wanted to cover with me and spent enough time to accomplish that. He answered all of my questions and left me feeling he and his staff are concerned with my health.

See my previous comment. I believe that the reputation of Community is based on its doctors. Dr. Keating is very nice, listens, and explains things.

My visit was a “meet and greet” as my previous electrophysiologist moved on… Dr. Keating took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure that I understood the answers. The visit did not seem rushed.

Dr. Keating and his nurse are two of the best people l have ever dealt with. Dr. Keating diagnosed the problem with my heart valves, scheduled surgery, repaired the heart valves that were causing irregular beats and l have had NO PROBLEMS since l was released. Dr. Keating never makes a patient feel rushed. Makes one feel like they are the most important patient he has.

I think he is a good doctor, visit went fine. But if you need anything between visits, like a medication refill, the nurse or NP will not read his notes to understand the plan and will refuse. I got the impression from that encounter they don't have the experience or knowledge necessary to work in this type of practice. So I was denied medication that was part of his plan. He is knowledgeable, some of the staff not so much.

Finding a good fit in a physician is crucial. Patients need to have someone they can communicate with and trust that that person has the very best qualifications to meet their present and future needs . Dr. Keating is one of those people.

Dr Keating put me at ease right away with his elbow bump. He listened to what I had to say and answered my questions. I felt he was very open and honest about what he put on my chart because he said the words aloud as he typed them.

Dr Keating definitely did listen and take time to evaluate what we could do to find out why I keep passing out for no reason. I realize this loop may not tell us anything but it is worth trying.
